Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThe collection consists of a bound volume containing a listing of 700 citizens (men and women) of Greene County (Ga.) who signed an amnesty oath to the United States after the Civil War. Entries may include name, rank, regiment, place of residence, description (complexion, hair, eyes, height), signature, date, and remarks. The remarks usually include age and occupation, and in some cases parole information.
