Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThe collection consists of two diaries kept while serving with the 363rd Engineer Regiment of the U.S. Army during World War II. Shearouse describes details of India and Iran, as well as his daily duties, his return to the United States after the war ended, then life in Savannah, Georgia.
