Scope and Content

The collection consists of paid receipts of James Cocroft for the schooling of his children (1843-1860). Also included are three photographs. It is unclear if the subjects of the photographs are the children of William H. and Sara Ann (Gibbs) Cocroft, possibly John Gibbs Cocroft or Leonard Gibbs Cocroft (circa 1830).
