Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThe collection consists of photographs and autographs collected by Ellis D. Robb and Adelaide Robb, and correspondence to the Robbs relating to their acquisition. Autographed photographs are of General Leonard Wood, John McCormack, Leslie Ward, James S. Sherman, and James Saxon Childers. Autographs included are by Hugh Walpole, James Bede, Franklin MacVeagh, Charles W. Fairbanks, James R. Garfield, Anna Balestier, Henry C. Wallace, John C. Coolidge, Carter Glass, Walter Brown, Newton D. Baker, Marian Bower, Lytton Strachey, and Emma S. Bellamy. Also included are several typewritten correspondence from secretaries to presidents of the United States, and some autographs that are illegible and undated.
