Scope and ContentThe collection consists of a notebook containing copies of letters signed "M.," "Mollie Dunlap," or are unsigned; one letter is dated "Rome, March 13, 1868." The author also included aphorisms for good living and a recipe for the "tropical fruit, vegetable and meat preserving process." Written on the cover of the notebook: "Samuel Dunlap Sales Book."
