Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThe collection consists of an account books of Miller and Worsham, for their general store in Hopewell, Georgia, from 1847-1848. Entries include name of customer, itemized list of purchases, and price. Purchases include a variety of general merchandise. The volume includes a list of women, who's husbands or sons serve or served "in the army" and perhaps the number of children, for distribution of salt shares.
