Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteCarolyn Cobb was the daughter of Howell Cobb, Jr., and Mary McKinley, and for many years a civic and cultural leader of the Athens community. Scope and ContentThe collection consists of genealogies of the Cobb family, a notebook (apparently created by Lucien F. Williams, Jr.), and correspondences. Correspondences (and copies of correspondences) were mostly from Carolyn Cobb, and concern donations made to the Puritan Society, Colonial Dames of America, and Fielding Lewis house of Kenmare.
