Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThe collection consists of papers of the Stone family from 1880-1943. Papers include receipts of Mary Stone, promissory notes to William Stone, Georgia State College report cards, and business papers concerning Athens Chronicle and Athens Publishing Company. Volumes included are a cashbook of Athens Weekly Chronicle; cashbook of Hubert Banking Company; and a scrapbook created by Jennie Stone containing a newspaper story by Harry Stillwell Edwards.
