Collection DescriptionScope and ContentThis photograph collection consists of family albums from the early 1880s to the 1890s, containing mostly gelatin type prints. There are also a few ferrotypes. Most of the albums contains pictures of women, men, and children. Two of the albums contain reprints of National Archives negatives taken during the Civil War, including pictures of battle fields and of destruction in Georgia, and one album is a collection of pictures of Civil War generals, including an index for reference.
