Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteAlbert B. Saye, of the University of Georgia, Richard B. Russell Distinguished Professor of Political Science, is a noted expert on the Georgia constitution and its history. He worked on revisions to the state constitution of Georgia when, in 1976, the Georgia legislature and public referendum brought to the fore the need for such changes. Scope and ContentThe collection consists of various stages of Saye's revisions to the state constitution of Georgia and a letter from Governor George Busbee pertaining to the matter under study.
