Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteThe notebooks and ledgers collection dates from 1888 to the 1920s and helps to show various administrative and scholarly activities from that time period. Of particular interest are two lecture books entitled "Theory of Numbers". These books consist of Math lectures and may have been generated by Dr. C.M. Snelling during the time that he taught in that department. Scope and ContentThis collection consists of various notebooks and ledgers. Some of the materials include a cashbook and a journal that recorded the amount of money spent on campus expenses. There are also two Math Department lecture notebooks that may have originated with Dr. Charles Mercer Snelling.
