Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteSoule Hall was the first women's dormitory at the University of Georgia, built in 1920 and named for Andrew W. Soule, the President of the Georgia State College of Agriculture from 1907-1932 and Dean of the College from 1932-1933. It is also the oldest continuous residence hall on the Univerity of Georgia campus. Soule Hall is now part of the Myers Community and is the only residence hall reserved for non-freshman women. Scope and ContentThis collection consists of five ledgers. The ledgers included the arrival and departure of the women who lived in Soule Hall in the 1920s.
