Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteMargaret Dowdle Head was a graphic artist in the Art Department at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education from 1975 until her reitrement in 2016. In that time, she also functioned as graphics personnel for WGTV during the latter portion of its tenure in Athens and later on, for the television and radio entities which shared the call letters WUGA. Scope and ContentThe collection includes a minimal amount of office correspondence and subject file material, several items of memorabilia, and some limited original art, but the bulk of the collection consists primarily of support and promotional work product, as well as pulications work product attendant upon the Georgia Center's instructional and conference missions. Organization and ArrangementThe collection consists of six series: 1. Conference Materials, 2. In-House Promotional Materials, 3. Instructional Promotional Materials, 4. Publications, 5. Memorabilia, and 6. Portfolios and Original Art Work.
