Collection DescriptionBiographical/historical noteEleanor Culpepper (Willingham) was a 1929 graduate of the Georgia State Teachers College in Athens, Georgia. In 1929, she served as the editor of school's yearbook, Crystal. Mrs. Willingham's father, Homer L. Culpepper, was also a student at school in the late 1800s. Scope and ContentThe Eleanor Culpepper (Willingham) collection dates from 1894 through 1932. It includes the editing manuscript for the 1929 Crystal along with instructions for the design of the yearbooks. There is also a copy of the 1923 manuscript History of the State Normal School by E. S. Sell and a textbook used by Mrs. Willingham's father while a student at the school in 1895.
