William J. Bruckner UGA sports memorabilia collection
Collection DescriptionHistorical NoteWilliam J. Bruckner graduated from The Citadel in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He then attended the University of Georgia's School of Law and graduated with a JD in 1969. After graduation, Bruckner spent two years in the Army and then went to work for the Fulton County Solicitor General's Office. There he prosecuted criminal cases as the Assistant Solicitor. Bruckner later became an attorney with the Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company Legal Department in Atlanta. In addition to his legal career, Bruckner has been a very active volunteer with such organizations as The Atlanta History Center and Habitat for Humanity. Scope and ContentThis collection has a number of UGA football tickets. The regular game tickets date from 1986 to 2012 and the bowl game tickets date from 1960 to 2013. In addition, there is an Atlanta Braves baseball ticket from 2010. Also included is ephemera such as a UGA football brochure from 1966. Administrative InformationPreferred CitationWilliam J.
