Collection DescriptionBiographicalLorraine Bennett grew up in Murphy, North Carolina and attended UNC-Chapel Hill. She began her journalism career at the Atlanta Journal, and went on the work for the Los Angeles Times and CNN International. She also worked as the press secretary for Andrew Young's first congressional campaign. Bennett published her fist novel, Cat on a Black Moon, in 2023.
