Collection DescriptionBiographical NoteMilner Shriver Ball, son of Edward and Lucy Ball, studied at Princeton (1958, bachelor's), Harvard (1961, divinity) and the University of Georgia (1971, law). He is an ordained Presbyterian minister and came to Athens as a campus minister in 1966. As a law student, he served as editor-in-chief of the Georgia Law Review and graduated first in his class. He then taught at Rutgers-Camden before returning to Athens in 1978. Ball served as the Caldwell Professor in Constitutional Law at the Univerisity of Georgia until his retirement in 2007. He is married to June McCoy Ball.
