Photographs depict Franklin and other soldiers in military uniform and on horses. Also included are photographs of cyclone damage in Chipley, Georgia in 1908.

The collection also includes a few correspondences to Cora McLean from other correspondents (1912-1918), and cartoon drawings of army life.
