Horkan's mother, sister, and niece relay family news. The letter dated Swinford, December 30, 1896, "My dear son, George,"
signed "From your fond and dying mother, Margreat Horkan," was written from Margreat's deathbed, and includes a note from
Horkan's sister, Mary.

Volumes contain photographs of hospitals in Georgia, mostly Atlanta and Augusta. Some hospitals included are Eugene Talmadge
Memorial Hospital, Augusta, Georgia; Cobb Memorial Hospital, Austell, Georgia; and Georgia Mental Health Center, Atlanta,
Georgia. There are also a few photographs of Hartselle Hospital, in Alabama; and Veterans Administration Hospital in San Juan,
Puerto Rico. Volume 2 contains the history of Gregson & Associates, and definitions of architectural lingo. Photographs are
in color and include external and internal views.

business of the Lodge including financial matters, elections, the establishment and dissolution of local lodges, and its relationship
with the Rebekah Assembly (the women's branches). The collection also contains some printed material (1902-1917, with gaps)
including proceedings, constitutions, and bylaws of various Georgia lodges.

a hand drawn map of a proposed railway from Savannah and Macon to the Western States.

This collection consists of the papers of Dr. Stanley W. Lindberg, the longtime editor of The Georgia Review. His correspondence
with many well-known authors such Robert Penn Warren and Pat Conroy is found in the collection. In addition, there are documents
related to the "Roots in Georgia" Literary Symposium of 1985. Materials associated with the 1996 Atlanta Olympics such as
those concerning the Cultural Olympiad. Many of Lindberg's writings and speeches are here including those on the subjects
of the McGuffey Eclectic Readers and U.S. copyright issues. Documents from his work before 1977 include materials from Lindberg's
research toward his University of Pennsylvania Ph.D. dissertation on the subject of Samuel Johnson. There are also items from
Lindberg's time as an editor with the Ohio Review.
