The collection consists of correspondence from Myrtle (Anne) Wolfshohl to Lois Jean Duncan from 1944-1948. Wolfshohl writes from 3rd Women's Army Corps Training Center, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, regarding training and her feelings toward the Army. She then writes from Ft. Myers, Virginia. Letters regard working as a code clerk for the War Department Signal Center in the Pentagon, the Fair Employment Practice Committee, and her volunteer work at the National Council for a Permanent FEPC. The collection consists of correspondence, photographs, and ephemera dated from 1919 to 1963 and collected by the William Bruce Eidson family of Ways (or Richmond Hill), Bryan County, Georgia. The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence from William Bruce Eidson, Jr. to his parents from 1939 to 1952 while he was a student at Georgia Tech, in the army as a flight trainee and part of its specialized training program, and a journalism student at the University of Georgia after the war. Also included is a group of letters written by William Bruce Eidson to his wife from 1919 to 1952 while he worked elsewhere in the lumber trade and later as part of the Civilian Conservation Corps and in Columbus, Georgia at Fort Benning.

The collection consists of correspondence, genealogical information, writings, financial papers, printed material, scrapbooks, photographs, deeds, and transcripts and copies of historical documents. Much of the Craig Barrow correspondence deals with his involvement with the Savannah Boxing Commission, Savannah Golf Club, Central of Georgia Railway, and the University of Georgia Alumni Society. The family correspondence contains letters regarding the Barrow property called the Home Place in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. There is much emphasis on Savannah, the Wormsloe estate, and Georgia history in both printed material and photographs. A large section of the financial papers concerns the real estate owned by the Barrows in Savannah and details the sale, rental, and management of the properties.

The collection consists of fifty-one rolls of film Henry Grady Marshall took during his time in North Africa and Europe during World War II. Some of these photographs were taken with a German "robot" camera, which could put as many as fifty exposures on a thirty-six exposure roll of film. Towards the end of the war Marshall was stationed in Munich, Germany and many of the images seem to have been taken in that area. Contact sheets have been made by the University of Georgia Libraries' Photographic Services and are located in Box 1 of the collection.

The collection consists of a ledger with three sections. The first and largest section concerns the Sons of Temperance, Cane Creek Division in Rutherford County, North Carolina. Included are rules of order, constitution, names of members and their occupations, and accounts of members, from 1852-1855. The second section contains four pages of minutes of the Stephenson Gold Mining Company, Dahlonega, Georgia, from 1861. The third section contains the constitution, by-laws, list of members, and minutes of the Dahlonega Debating Society, Dahlonega, Georgia, from 1871.

The collection consists of photographs and correspondence of Myrtle Louise Davis while training and serving for the Women's Army Corps, from 1944-1946. Davis writes from Third WAC Training Center in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia; Halloran General Hospital, Staten Island, New York; Plattsburgh Barracks, Plattsburgh, New York; Greensboro and Fort Braggs, North Carolina. Correspondence regards basic training, inspections, staging, girls in her platoon; classes for becoming a registered Occupational Therapist, patients, activities in the barracks; WAC events, her job in the Medical Library, music classes, duties at the AAF Convalescent Hospital, and army life. Photographs (circa 1944-1946) depict Louise and WAC officers posing at different locations, including A.A.F. Convalescent Hospital and Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. The collection also includes Davis's personnel records, postcards collected by Davis (with images of Grand Central Station Serviceman's Lounge, WAAC images, WAAC Military Band, Camp MacDonough, Plattsburg, and Albany), training schedules, and standard "How to" procedures. Loose issues of Army Talk (published by the War Department); The Barracks Bag and The Sentry (both published by AAF Convalescent Hospital at Plattsburg Barracks, N.Y.) are also included.

The collection consists of correspondence of Stephen Corker and Margaret Mytris Palmer Corker, from 1859-1916. Correspondence is mainly from Stephen Corker to his wife, from camps near Georgia Roanoke Island, Fredericksburg, and Winchester; and U.S. Military Prison, Johnson's Island, Ohio. Corker writes about his health, deaths and health of members in his regiment, 400 prisoners sent to Point Lookout, Maryland, rumors of a prisoner exchange, and family concerns. Other correspondence are from Corker while in Washington, DC; and from Margaret to Frank Corker, and other friends and family members. Included is a letter dated Headquarters, August 18, 1863, to Mrs. M. M. Corker, signed "Robert E. Lee," regarding the fate of her husband. The collection also consists of genealogy of Stephen Corker dating back to 1775.
