The collection consists of papers of Captain Isaac S. Vincent from 1837-1839. Papers include correspondence, military orders, provision returns, and a muster roll (May 14, 1838) relating to Vincent's command of the 1st Regiment of Georgia Volunteers while stationed at Cedar Town, Georgia during the removal of the Cherokee Indians from Georgia.
