Telfair, Thomas, Twiggs, Walker, Wayne, Ware and Wilkinson. The manuscript is seventy-seven pages, but pages 7-18 and 47-54
are missing.

The collection consists of a record book containing minutes and financial accounts of the Washington County (Ga.) Board of
Commissioners for Roads, Public Property and Finance from January, 1898 - October, 1904. The minutes describe the meetings
of the board and pertain to activities of the Home for the Poor, the jail, and other public institutions; aid to indigent
confederate veterans; the building of public roads or utilities; and appointment of board members. The financial accounts
are included with the minutes and contain accounts audited, approved, paid and the names of the payees; poll taxes paid, general
taxes paid; and the names of any loan defaulters.
