The Walter Danner papers span the years 1940 through 1973 and is divided into two series: Desegregation (1959-1961) and Administratve Materials/Correspondence (1940-1973). The first series, Desegregation, deals with the efforts of African Americans (particularly Charlayne Hunter and Hamilton Holmes) to be accepted to the University of Georgia and the actions Danner took as Registrar. The second series, Administrative Materials/Correspondence, includes correspondence and other materials that show Danner's interactions with University of Georgia departments and faculty along with with various outside organizations.

The collection consists of school lesson plans from the 1910's from the old State Normal School and other documents from this time period. However, the vast majority centers around Mrs. Elliott's time as a teacher at the University of Georgia Department of Education Demonstration School. Many items marked "Elementary School" direct to this school. Mrs. Elliott kept many books and notes on her students, her teaching, and the schools she worked for. There are numerous progress reports, grade sheets, information sheets, received holiday cards and pictures, and even a school scrapbook project about China. Correspondence and instruction about teaching are also very popular in this collection, though often mixed in with student information.

The John Alton Hosch Papers consists of six series. These are Desegregation (1938-1976), Administrative Files/Correspondence (1859-1985), Financial (1950-1982), Photographs (1920s-1978), Scholarships (1953-1981) and Placement (1976-1983). This collection holds items from Hosch's time as professor and Dean of the School of Law from 1928 to 1964 and includes information regarding African American Horace T. Ward's attempt to be accepted into the School in 1950. There are materials from the Institute of Law and Government where Hosch also served as director from 1953 until 1957. In addition, there are numerous materials created while Henry A. Shinn served as Acting Dean during Hosch's military service from 1941 to 1948. The other documents in the collection date from after Hosch's retirement in 1964 and run through 1985. These were generated by various School of Law departments and personnel.
