The minutes describe the activities of the members including hymns sung, readings given by the members, and elections of officers. The collection also includes newspaper clippings regarding the deaths of Captain C. G. Talmadge and Isham H. Pittard.

The collection consists of papers of Rev. Ravaud K. Rodgers dating 1671-1879. The papers include a scrapbook containing clippings documenting Rodgers' ministerial career in New Jersey as well as autographs collected by Rodgers. The collection also consists of items, mainly correspondence, collected by Rodgers including several letters relating to the Revolutionary War, documents pertaining to the Schuyler family, and "A memorial of Rev. Ravaud K. Rodgers, D. D., [Re-printed by the Society's proceedings]." Of particular interest is a letter (dated July 17, 1776) describing the celebration at Fort Monmouth (N.J.) upon the declaration of independence.

Jones; his children John Dunwoody Jones, Mary Cornelia Jones, Joseph H. Jones, and John C. Jones; his brothers and sisters Reverend Charles C. Jones, Mary Jones, J.N. Jones, and Sallie A. Dunwoody and her husband William J. Dunwoody. Records relating directly to John Jones include sermons (1830-1883), various diaries and financial ledgers, legal documents, and materials relating to the Presbyterian Church. The collection contains some material relating to various Jones family plantations in Georgia including Hopestill and Bonaventure. The papers also include scrapbooks, photographs, newspaper clippings, records of enslaved persons, court records, and legal documents.
