The collection consist of papers of and about Jack Martin. A large portion of the collection consists of A Little Bit About This and That clippings, Martin's column published in the Athens Banner-Herald. Also included are resolutions designating Martin as an Honorary Historian of the State of Georgia, newspaper clippings concerning awards presented to Martin, copies of articles and books written by Martin (including History of St. Mary's Hospital and The Only Double-barreled Cannon). Also included are several newspaper clippings mentioning Jack Martin dressed up as Santa Claus; and a photograph taken at Ben Epps Airfield, Athens, Georgia in 1932, depicting the arrival of Martin dressed as Santa Claus in a Ford tri-motored plane.

The collection consists of genealogy, correspondence, financial ledgers and papers, photographs, and printed material. Most of the material involves Cobb County, Georgia and the families who lived there. Roy Davis, father of Douglas, owned the Roy Davis Funeral Home in Austell and records of the business are included. The Glore family of Mableton, who developed a subdivision in Mableton called Whispering Pines, is featured in the collection. Homer Alonzo Glore (1874-1944) was a doctor, and his son Louis Harold Glore (1909-1991) worked at Pullman Company 1926-1946 and then had a law practice with his brother Homer A. Glore (1901-1976). The correspondence and genealogy research of Grover Eugene Barber is included. There is information about the history of the Cobb County Post Office, the Cobb County Justice of the Peace office, legal cases of the Glore & Glore law firm, Austell School Board records, and much information about the Pullman Company. Some items collected or purchased by Davis are unrelated to the families or to Georgia, such as the Charles Gordon estate ledger (1875-1884) from Edinburgh, Scotland and an 1882 diary of George S. Paine of Lexington, Massachusetts.

The collection consists of correspondence from Sir John Glubb in Mayfield, England to Diane Hanson during the years 1971-1986 as she worked at Troy State University (AL), Brenau University (Gainesville, GA), and High Point University (NC). There are also printed obituaries and memorials, photographs, and several handwritten chapters of Glubb's book The Way of Love. There are no letters from Diane, but Glubb's letters are filled with his opinions on politics, religion, women's rights, and Middle East history. He includes inspirational quotations with most letters and gives many details of his health and family.

The collection consists of biographical information, financial papers, scrapbook/school book, medical notebooks, printed material, and photographs. Conway's typed autobiography describes his life as a child on the plantation, his Civil War experiences, and his medical career. His medical notebooks list patients and their treatments. He also wrote a notebook about early medicine and remedies. The school notebook of Mamie Conway (Dr. Conway's daughter) was begun while she was a student at the Lucy Cobb Institute (Athens, Ga.) and later turned into a scrapbook of clippings and mementos. Photographs include the wedding of Mamie Conway and William C. Mizelle/Mizell in 1904. Additionally, there are postcards to Mary Ann and Ola Kemp and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas P. Dent; a small number of items from Conway Mizelle's travels in Cuba; and material related to Patrick Mizelle at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit (Conyers, Ga.).

This collection consists of negatives and contact sheets taken by Margo Rosenbaum during her career as a photographer from the late 1970s through the 1990s. Her images were used in two-person exhibitions with her husband Art Rosenbaum and in his publications regarding traditional American folk music. Some of the images appear in these publications: Folk Visions and Voices: Traditional Music and Song in North Georgia, Shout Because You're Free: The African American Ring Shout Tradition in Coastal Georgia, The Art of the Mountain Banjo, and Art of Field Recording: 50 Years of Traditional American Music Documented by Art Rosenbaum.

The collection consists of biographical information, correspondence, writings, printed material, photographs, and a scrapbook. The correspondence is mainly of the Thomas and DuBose families, but there is also some material of related families Barnett, Toombs, White, Welch, Stovall, Morton and Van Epps. Although there are no original letters, there is some interesting information about Alexander Erwin Wilson and his wife Jane Smithey who were missionaries in South Africa 1835-1836. They were the grandparents of Jennie Stovall DuBose. There are numerous photographs of the families, and Navy photographs of Austin Hill Barnett, Jr. Printed material includes a booklet of the Athens High School reunion of the class of 1937 which included Janet DuBose. The scrapbook was kept by Minnie Thomas and holds colorful advertisements circa 1879.
