The collection consists of love letters from Gordon Reynolds (who is serving in the U.S. Army) to Ann Briscoe, Monroe, Georgia,
from 1944-1945. Reynolds writes from France and Belgium, and letters regard camp activities and personal time, and contain
questions about Briscoe's interests and happenings of people in Georgia. Reynolds also writes from an army hospital in England
and an army hospital in Camp Edwards, Massachusetts. Letters from Massachusetts regard Reynolds' boredom, dances at the Service
Club, Ann's brother, classes, army life, plans of their marriage, and his discharge. The collection also includes some letters
addressed to Ann Briscoe from Sgt. Ted A. Cerwin, Francis Casey, and Sgt. John "Jack" S. Crouch.
