The collection consists of three letters from Samuel Worcester, Salem, to Reverend William Jenks, Bath, Maine, in 1815. Letters
regard missionaries in India, plans for a mission in Ceylon, ordination of missionaries, language and methods to use for converting
Native American Indians to Christianity, Worcester's plan for Native American Indian missions, and possible missionaries to
send on an exploratory trip. Also included is a signed engraving of Worcester (undated).

The collection consists of papers of Rev. Ravaud K. Rodgers dating 1671-1879. The papers include a scrapbook containing clippings
documenting Rodgers' ministerial career in New Jersey as well as autographs collected by Rodgers. The collection also consists
of items, mainly correspondence, collected by Rodgers including several letters relating to the Revolutionary War, documents
pertaining to the Schuyler family, and "A memorial of Rev. Ravaud K. Rodgers, D. D., [Re-printed by the Society's proceedings]."
Of particular interest is a letter (dated July 17, 1776) describing the celebration at Fort Monmouth (N.J.) upon the declaration
of independence.
