the Korean War (January 1951, August 1951-June 1952). Letters mention Reynolds' activities on the frontline, military life,

his eye shot out … I got him back to the aid station on my tank...don't know how many Chinese we did kill."

The collection consists of letters written almost daily by Sellers to his wife, Mary (b. 1935) who was back home in Pomona
and Chino, California. Although mainly love letters, there is some information about the routine of Army camp life. Sellers
also tries to advise his young wife on matters such as finances, health and car maintenance. The letters end in May 1954,
as Mary plans to move to Georgia to be with her husband. There are also three letters written by servicemen that appear to
be unrelated to the Bryant Sellers papers.
