The John E. Drewry Papers reveal Drewry as a reporter, author, student, instructor, dean, and dean emeritis through correspondence,
notes, manuscripts, photographs, and clippings. Located within Drewry's papers are unique insights into the world of magazine
and newpaper publishing in America during the mid-twentieth century.
There are copies of many of Drewry's lectures and speeches plus documentation of his involvement in organizations such as
the Georgia Scholastic Press Association and the Georgia Collegiate Press Association. Additionally Drewry's involvement with
the Peabody Awards from their inception in 1940 is represented through correspondence and photographs.
Box 15 includes a folder of personal correspondence from 1931-1937 regarding Kathleen Drewry. These letters have been photocopied
from originals in ms 3271 and have been added to this accession for the information they add regarding Drewry's life.

In 1995, Jack Barnette and his son Mark Barnette engaged John Ehrlichman, White House Counsel on Domestic Affairs to President
Richard Nixon, to collaborate with them on a film project to tell the inside story of those working in the White House during
the Watergate scandal that ultimately brought down the Nixon presidency. The project culminated in long and short versions
of the video documentary In the Eye of the Storm, hosted by author Tom Clancy, the video production An Evening with Ehrlichman
at London University, and video footage of Bob Woodward's interview of Ehrlichman. This series includes production media for
In the Eye of the Storm, comprised of original interviews with people involved in the Watergate scandal, an interview with
John Ehrlichman by Bob Woodward, interviews with Ehrlichman by Tom Clancy, the London production An Evening with John Ehrlichman,
the Boca Raton, Florida production Watergate Revisited, footage of Tom Clancy's narration, video transfers of John Ehrlichman's
home movies, soundtrack and score media, and footage purchased from NARA and other sources.

The collection consists of materials from Don and Carolyn Carter's careers, mostly from 1940-1990. It contains many letters
between Carolyn and Don while he served in World War II in the China Burma India Theater, as well as several letters between
Don and J. Montgomery Curtis, a close friend and former vice-president at Knight-Ridder Newspapers, Inc. Contains correspondence,
documents, and articles from both Don and Carolyn's careers in journalism and photojournalism and also reflects their lifelong
close relationship with the Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Collection consists of many letters
and other materials showing their involvement in politics, namely Jimmy Carter's tenure as Governor of Georgia and his presidency.
