The collection consists of a variety of materials donated by the author after her induction into the Georgia Writers Hall of Fame in 2010. It consists of manuscripts, correspondence, posters, and many other materials pertaining to her lengthy career. The bulk of the manuscript material document her fictional works in the children and young adult genres, while also highlighting some non-fiction works and poetry collections. Occasional book cover designs and poetry chapbook layouts are also included with the manuscripts. Also included are materials related to Cofer's professional career as a teacher and author, with correspondence, notebooks and journals.

The collection contains genealogy on families of the Athens and Northeast Georgia region, including lineage charts, family correspondence, deed records, marriage records, wills, and census records. Also included are church and cemetery records from the region.

Collection consists of photographic, audiovisual and promotional material (including posters autographed by musicians and performers) for the Atlanta music festival Music Midtown, which ran from 1994-2005 and started again in 2011.

This collection contains World War I through World War II posters from the United States, Great Britain, France, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, and the Philippines. The posters cover various issues such as supporting the war, buying war bonds, enlisting in the army, preserving food and resources, and supporting the Red Cross.

The collection consists of papers of Ward Morehouse from 1879-1969 and includes photographs, clippings, scrapbooks, galley proofs, correspondence, posters, and manuscripts. Photographs are of stage and screen actors and actresses from the late 19th century to the 1950s. Clippings and scrapbooks pertain to Morehouse's columns, play and screen reviews, and theater openings.

This collection consists of broadsides and other printed ephemera that were purchased or pulled from Hargrett collections. Topics include advertisements, acts and laws, theater, publishing, railroads, and economics.

The collection consists of accounting records of the Brumby Chair Company (Marietta, Ga.) from 1879-1945. The records consist primarily of a comprehensive collection of materials documenting the fiscal activity of the company. The records include cash books, cash journals, order books, time records for workers, shipping receipts, and general journals. The collection also contains price lists and sales catalogs featuring the products manufactured.

The collection consists of 21 photographs of a large, unidentified farm in 1920s in Georgia hill country.

This collection primarily consists of French, British, and American propoganda posters from World War I by well-known artists including Steinlen, Willette, Faivre, Ibels, Georges Scott, Ethel Franklin Betts, and others. Additionally, there are a small number of prints, newspapers, sheet music, postcards, and artifacts related to the war and post-war period. The artifacts include a number of trench art pieces made from artillery shells. There is a small collection of steroviews and a stereoviewer.
