The collection consists of a 3 page typescript titled An account by Mrs. John Freeman Hillyer (Written in ink and copied by her great-granddaughter, Lorena Hillyer Fox). The typescript is undated, and consists of an account of a trip to Texas made in 1847-1849 by the Hillyer family. The collection also includes photocopies of census information (original date is 1850) and a typed copy of a family biography of the Biscoe family (original date is 1845).
