Contents: |
Collection includes three Masonic leather aprons and one wooden cribbage board from the Haynes family. These items were previously
stored at the Ashantilly House. One of the three aprons is from South Carolina, indicated by a crescent moon on the front
of the apron, and belonged to William Greaner Haynes Sr. The remaining aprons were obtained sometime after the family moved
to Darien, Georgia in 1918. Aprons and cribbage board all include Freemason imagery of the All-Seeing Eye and the builders
square and compass.

various citizens encouraging Bennett to run for State Legislature, letters from members of the Love Lodge Masons, and printed
material including a speech made by Hoke Smith in 1906 and the Child Labor Bill.
