The collection consists of Timothy Mathews Furlow's diary that he created during his time at the University of Georgia [Franklin
College]from 1833-1836. The diary includes a list of students at the College from January 1833 through August 1836. Also
included in the collection is a scan of a photograph of Furlow, some biographical information and two letters from Dean William
Tate to one of Furlow's descendents, Timothy Furlow Conner.
