The collection consists of Alexander family reunion, Cataloochee Ranch, Maggie Valley, N. C., May 11-14, 1995, a booklet of the descendants of Hooper and Mary Amelia Hutchins Alexander, along with a pamphlet and a sheet containing a schedule of events for the Alexander family reunion held in 1995. The collection also includes a daguerreotype of Wallace MacFarland, circa 1846; silver coin ladle, circa 1700; and the Word family tree, tracing linage back to 1632.

It includes correspondence, deeds, articles, a bible, poems, essays, photographs, daguerreotypes, programs, scrapbooks, and indentures relating to ancestors of the Atkinsons. Articles and programs pertain to the Atlanta Medical College and the Winterville Academy (Winterville, Georgia). Most of the correspondence is to or from Fannie Atkinson. The collection provides a social history of Georgia for the time period.

The collection consists of two letters (and one envelope) addressing William Schley. The first letter, dated May 6, 1852, addresses Cousin William, and is signed E. B. Hook; second letter, dated October 9, 1852, is signed Daniel Hook. Also included is a daguerreotype of William Schley and his wife, and a bank draft signed to Schley by Joseph Clarke of Columbus, Georgia (dated 1857).

The collection consists of genealogy, correspondence, writings, photographs, daguerreotypes, and printed material. The early correspondence concerns the LeConte, Furman and Carter families. More recent correspondence is of Carolyn Shaw McMillan, a great granddaughter of Emma Florence LeConte Furman. Much of this correspondence deals with efforts to preserve LeConte-Woodmanston and to reconstruct the botanical garden. In 1973 the site was placed on the National Register of Historic Places, and of the original 3,354 acres, 63.8 acres were deeded to the Garden Club of Georgia in 1977. Most of the writings are by Emma Florence LeConte Furman, who kept diaries for many years, and also wrote of her travels and her family.

The collection consists of correspondence (from George H. Keeler, Milton and Louise Keeler, et al), diaries, documents, ledgers, journals, scrapbooks, sheet music, broadsides, newspapers, musical manuscripts, postage stamps, postcards, books on local history, photographs and other related printed ephemera spanning dates from 1817 to the 1960s. The documents mostly relate to the families of George King Camp and George H. Keeler; included are an appointment as Postmaster of Marietta (signed by William Howard Taft, 1910), Cobb County land deeds, Confederate bonds, and receipts. Photographs include a record of Sarah Atwood Camp's travels via steamship; an album of albumen photographs of Florida, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Martinique, Antiqua, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, and Cuba; and daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, cartes-de-visite, and tintypes of family members.
