copied by Melba Bedgood in 1959. The first section is labeled Book A: Marriage Records for 1805-1814. The second section contains
Land Court records for headrights 1803-1833. An index of names is included in the front of the ledger.
Loose papers laid in the front of the ledger include typed information regarding a Baptist church in Athens; Clarke County
Will Book C for 1842-1859; General Wiliam M. Browne; and a genealogy of the Williams and O'Kelley families.
