She responds his request for an autograph and his comparison of her to "Miss Melly" (referring to Melanie Hamilton Wilkes from Gone with the Wind). Accompanying this letter is a follow up letter from Polhill thanking her for her generosity. Also included is a newspaper clipping from 1967 August 31 entitled "Louisville's Polhill Has Devoted Life to CSRA [Central Savannah River Area] Growth".
