This collection contains Frank Egerton's correspondence with colleagues Michael Mitchell, Lecturer of Botany at the National
University of Ireland Galway, and Jean-Marc Drouin, retired professor of Philosophy and the History of Science at the National
Museum of Natural History in Paris. Most of these letters, postcards, and emails focus on recommendations and articles for
Egerton's works on the history of Ecological Sciences, but they also include details about their personal lives and families.
In addition, there are several articles written in French sent by Jean-Marc Drouin and some correspodence between Egerton
and Drouin's wife and daughter including a few photographs.

the support of the "civil establishment of Georgia for the present year", says he encloses copy of estimate upon which grant
is founded "for your direction in the Application thereof," mentions an increase in the allowance for purchase of "implements
and utensils for improving the manufacture of raw silk."

W. Bonner; dated January 23, 1961, the third is a friendly letter of congratulation on her 80th birthday; and dated February
11, 1961, the fourth letter is following up on a question that Mrs. Bonner had not answered from Kilpatrick's previous letter,
asking that she write "a page or so" regarding her work as a student under him and what it meant to her (a volume of such
letters is being compiled and will be bound and deposited in the Columbia Teacher's College Library). Also included are two
photocopies, Dr. Kilpatrick's obituary and a brief biographical sketch.
