This collection consists of a letter dated December 26, 1835, from Alexander C. Farrington of New York, to Stephen Hills,
of New York. Farrington responds to Hills' inquiry regarding 100,000 acres of timber lands in Georgia. He talks about the
quality of the land and timber, the market for timber, transporting the timber on a soon-to-be completed canal from Savannah
