The collection consists of Miss Blackshear's writings and the writings of others collected during her career with the College
of Agriculture. Many pageants, plays, and skits by Miss Blackshear are present, along with numerous reports and the typescripts
of some radio broadcasts made by Miss Blackshear. Topics include art, history, flower arrangement and holiday festivities.
A few articles of correspondence, newspaper clippings, pictures, programs and printed material, mostly related to her work,
are included in the collection. Some paintings are present including a self-portrait of the artist.
