Johnson Publishing Company between 1899-1906 regarding the posthumous publication of the book "Wallannah: A Colonial Romance" by Will Loftin Hargrave. First folder includes correspondence between 1899-1900, two copies of the publication contract, and a letter from B.W. Hargrave's mother concerning the title of the book. Second folder includes correspondence between 1901-1906, including a letter from Henry Groves Connor, a lawyer and United States federal judge, and a letter from Marshall DeLancey Haywood, a historian and author from Raleigh, North Carolina. Includes an original copy of the book.

The collection consists of papers of John Donald Wade and the Wade family from 1857-1963. It includes primarily correspondence with some clippings, research material and notes, receipts, legal records pertaining to various trust funds, printed material and note books. Early materials (1857-1912) contain land grants and correspondence of the Wade family including John Daniel and Ida Anne, John Donald Wade's parents. The bulk of the collection pertains to Wade's involvement with and writings of the Agrarian concept, the Georgia Review, and the Marshallville Foundation, a beautification and improvement organization in Marshallville, Georgia. Major correspondents include such Southern writers as James Truslow Adams, Charles A. Beard, Donald Davidson, Berry Fleming, Andrew Lytle, Dumas Malone, Minnie Hite Moody, Flannery O'Connor, Charlton Ogburn, Byron Herbert Reece, and Lamar Trotti.

The collection consists of materials covering the life and career of Coleman Barks, with materials ranging from 1959-2017. Includes correspondence with other authors, such as John Moyne, Robert Bly, Annie Dillard, Mary Oliver, Reshad Feild, and James Dickey. Other notable correspondence includes filmmaker Dorothy Fadiman, actress Debra Winger, and former White House Press Secretary Bill Moyers. Collection includes extensive files from Barks' career, including early drafts and notes of his first published book of poetry, The Juice, extensive notes on his many Rumi books, and several other published and unpublished works. Notable items include Barks' first published poem The Recuperating in Box 30, and Barks' first Rumi translations in Box 19. Other notable items from the collection include the robes, emblem, and honorary doctorate degree Barks' received from the University of Tehran in 2006, several dream journals he kept from 1972-2008, extensive notes from his travels and appearances across the world, and props from the set of the film Big Bad Love, in which he played a small role as a minister.
