Cities include Bainbridge, Brunswick, Centerville, Cleveland, College Park, Eatonton, Jefferson, Meigs, Monticello, Sandersville, Sparta, Sylvester, and Warner Robins. Counties include Baldwin, Clarke, Dawson, Paulding, Pierce, Telfair, Terrell, and Ware. Various auditors throughout Georgia completed the audits.

The collection consists of records of the Athens-Clarke County Charter Commission to formulate a workable charter for consolidation of city and county governments. The collection includes: correspondence, general material, minutes of charter commission, public hearings, vouchers, receipts, draft copies, preliminary organization material, audits, tax levies, newspaper and magazine articles and miscellaneous printed material.
