Tucker mainly regarding Georgia politics during the Civil War and Reconstruction. Also contains some material relating to Brown's son, Elijah A. Brown including a 1867 diary he kept while attending the University of Georgia; newspaper clippings pertaining to the death of Joseph E. Brown and his widow; and some legal documents.

The promotional/public relations series consists of the general files of the promotions department including advertisements, tear sheets, marketing files, meeting minutes, and correspondence and memoranda. Material related to Arbitron, Pulse, and Nielson ratings and surveys and analysis of programming is also located in this series. The contest files include ad copy for a wide variety of contests, entries, and occassionally photographs of the winners. In 1969, WSB developed the Community Interest Forum, which addressed broader community concerns and these files include meeting minutes, correspondence, and reports.
