Series III. Working Files documents the research and thought processes of the lawyers in the case. The series includes data collected on the schools and research files, as well as correspondence, depositions, and notes. Common subjects include DeKalb County Schools financial records and calculations of per pupil expenditures, plans for addressing overcrowding at Redan High School, statistics about teachers and staff, enrollment numbers of students include race, school facility capacity, the magnet school program, and DeKalb County School policies.

This series consists primarily of correspondence received by Hunter-Gault, between 1977 and 1988, when she served as a national correspondent and anchor on the MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour. Some of the correspondence includes copies of her replies. There are also twenty press passes from various events.

This folder contains clippings on Gowen's political activities in the Georgia General Assembly from 1952 to 1954 and his unsuccessful bid for governor of Georgia in 1954.

Series II: Legislative documents Darden's committee service, legislation considered during his terms, and his voting record. The committee files include correspondence, hearings transcripts, meeting minutes, draft legislation, and publications of the Appropriations Committee (FY94 and FY95), the Armed Services Committee, and the Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs, as well as a draft manual by the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct. Significant issues considered by the Armed Services Committee during this time include the Persian Gulf War (Desert Storm), Dobbins Air Force Base, military spending, and research and development of new weapons. The main concerns addressed by the Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs includes national parks, water resources and wetlands, and to a lesser extent handling nuclear waste and Native Americans.

Series II. Legislative documents Pannell's work on various legislative initiatives and his engagement with the issues affecting Georgia's 122nd District and includes copies of bills and resolutions, research and subject files, and related correspondence.

Series II. Legislative documents Johnson's various legislative initiatives and his engagement with the issues affecting Georgia's 1st District and includes copies of bills and resolutions, research and subject files, and related correspondence. Of particular interest are files related to the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship (2007), the Know Thy Neighbor Act and the School Safety Act (both 1997), and legislation pertaining to Tybee Island and coastal waterways.

Series II. Legislative contains research and subject files covering issues that Norwood focused on as part of his legislative and committee work, including material related to Energy and Commerce, Labor, Education and the Workforce, immigration, and the Patient's Bill of Rights, which Norwood coauthored. Of note are files pertaining to the California Power Crisis of 2001, the Enron hearing, OSHA concerns, union corruption, the Clear Act, and Homeland Security. Also included are letters and official correspondence concerning legislation that Norwood supported along with other members of Congress. Topics include new agriculture legislation, nuclear fuel management in Georgia, court closings, matters concerning Norwood's congressional district and additional local and federal legislation.

Series II documents Martin's service as Legislative Advocate for the Atlanta Legal Aid Society and Georgia Legal Services Program from 1977 to 1980 and includes memos, notes, draft legislation, legislative action plans, and research files. Common areas addressed include issues affecting children or the elderly, the Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) program, affordable housing and evictions, and government spending on legal aid. The series also contains annual reports and meeting minutes of the Atlanta Legal Aid Society.
