The collection consists of musical compositions by Bennie Richardson in both published and manuscript form. Also in the collection are a few clippings, a notebook, photographs (original and photocopies), and programs for the Christmas carol service by the Montezuma Music Lovers Club which was founded by Mrs. Richardson in 1915.

The collection consists of correspondence, clippings, photographs, and printed materials related to Benson's Bakery (Athens, Ga.) and William Howard Benson's political interests, and Ed Benson's civic activities. The personal and civic files document Ed Benson's involvement with the 48th Fighter Squadron (1943-1945) and his local civic engagements, especially highlighting the Athens Rotary Club and Mentor Program. The W. H. Benson papers primarily consist of his letters and telegrams sent to politicians at the state and national level regarding legislation and political agendas. The Benson's Bakery series document the evolution of the bakery from its opening in 1918 through the 1980s. Included are company newsletters, photographs, brochures, and ephemera.

The collection consists of biographical information, correspondence, writings, research, and photographs. Majette's only published work (1924) was White Blood, which dealt with race relations. Mistress of a Thousand Slaves is based on the life of Fanny Kemble. Research for the book includes a letter written by Fanny Kemble. Daughters of Men is about Indian tribes on the Sea Islands when the Spanish first came to Georgia. Please God... closely follows Majette's life story. Her writings also include children's stories and poems, some of which are in a scrapbook she made for her granddaughter in 1929.

The collection consists of four categories of material: photographs, files from the Ralph McGill Lecture series, two documents relating to Henry W. Grady and Georgia Scholastic Press Association materials. The photographs depict alumni, instructors, students, visiting lecturers, and events and activities of the college. The Ralph McGill Lecture files contain programs, photographs, and clippings for each year of the lecture series, covering 1979-2007. The Henry W. Grady materials consist of a poem and a tribute to Athens. The GSPA documents deal with material relating to high and middle school journalism.
