The Media Project files consist of press releases and media plans for major Habitat for Humanity projects such as Jimmy Carter Work Projects, Blitz Builds, and anniversary celebrations. The files document the efforts and strategies the organization used to promote these events and projects, including news releases, pamphlets, public relations efforts, and endorsements by public figures.

This series includes gifts and memorabilia received by Habitat from organizations and individuals associated with builds all over the world. The gifts include plaques, keys to various U.S. cities, buttons and pins, textiles and clothes, wood carvings, statuettes, banners, wallhangings, and shovels from the Global Village groundbreaking. Also included are commemorative t-shirts documenting builds all over the world dating from the 1980s to 2005. The t-shirts document the Jimmy Carter Work Project, collegiate builds, women's builds, charitable walks, and blitz builds.

While predominately reflecting the years 1916 through Edwards' death in 1976, the four accessions that make up this collection also include some material dating prior to Edwards arrival at the University of Georgia.

The collection consists primarily of administrative correspondence, photographs, conference proceedings, annual reports, budgets, and similar records documenting Linda Fox's career as Dean of the College of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Georgia over a ten-year period.

Sharon Nickols' collection includes material from her work with the University of Illinois and other institutes but mainly consists of items related to her position as Dean and Professor Emerita at UGA's College of Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS). Formats include research files, studies, correspondence, publications, and speeches. Topics of interest include UGA Home Economics Club, time management for homemakers, family economics, and the administration of FACS.

This collection consists of correspondence, articles, short stories, notes, chronicles, and photographs. Much of the correspondence, articles and short stories were written during or about World War II. Several of the letters are from NBC and CBS regarding making television shows out of these stories.

The collection consists of records of the Ladies Garden Club (Athens, Ga.) from 1894-1973. The records include correspondence, pamphlets, programs, clippings, certificates, publicity material, scrapbooks, minutes (1947-1948), membership lists (1960-1962), premium lists of vegetables and flowers (1894-1912), photographs, and a notebook (1989-1991) with correspondence, minutes, reports, and memoranda. The scrapbooks (1932-1992, with gaps) contain clippings, photographs, correspondence, and programs. The materials document the various activities of the club including the Founders Memorial Garden, cemetery projects, markers, and flower shows. The collection also contains programs, member lists, yearbooks (1930-1936), minutes (1934-1938) of the Garden Club of Georgia, a state-wide organization which coordinates the interests of the various garden clubs in Georgia.
