This collection consists of papers and photographs created and collected by Irene Claxton. The papers include correspondence, trip diaries, photographic notation, and artwork. The photography includes varying sizes and formats of family pictures and portraits, local newsworthy items, commercial portraiture, creative work, and historic family photographs. Other materials include slides, albums, and printed material documenting life in Dublin, Georgia. Items of interest include post cards, scrapbooks, student newspapers, Wesleyan yearbooks, train ticket stubs, photographs of the Dudley, Georgia kitchen cabinet maker Hogan-Scarboro Corporation, and slides from the World War Battle Slide Company.

The papers in these two boxes relate to Dr. Odum's administration of the Institute of Ecology and ecological operations at the Savannah River Atomic Plant during the years 1950 through 1980.

This collection contains photographs from the 1960s to the 1990s, many mounted on cardboard; presents from students and colleagues Japan when he visited in the late 1970s; letters to Torrance and his wife from colleagues, students, and friends; paintings and artwork by professional artists and children; video of E. Paul Torrance, his classes, and his educational methodology; and awards, commendations, certificates, and degrees.

The collection consists of records of the Athens-Clarke County Charter Commission to formulate a workable charter for consolidation of city and county governments. The collection includes: correspondence, general material, minutes of charter commission, public hearings, vouchers, receipts, draft copies, preliminary organization material, audits, tax levies, newspaper and magazine articles and miscellaneous printed material. Note: The question of consolidation was defeated in a referendum on May 24, 1972.

J. B. Fuqua Public Service Papers, Audiovisual Materials includes two quarter-inch open reel tapes and one phonodisc.

The collection consists of Mrs. Rudulph's article "George Cooke (1793-1849) and his paintings," notes concerning this article and a notebook on Cooke. There is also a checklist of Cooke's paintings, receipts for copies of some of his works, and 87 reproductions of Cooke's paintings. The collection also contains reproductions of correspondence, biographical material on George Cooke, the wills of Cooke and his wife, Cooke's sketch book, and some of Cooke's writings.

The collection consists of scrapbooks documenting the career of Vince Dooley.
