One letter originated from the Group 421 Headquarters in Hapeville, Georgia, regarding a gala dance being held by the Atlanta Squadron.

The collection consists of two diaries kept while serving with the 363rd Engineer Regiment of the U.S. Army during World War II. Shearouse describes details of India and Iran, as well as his daily duties, his return to the United States after the war ended, then life in Savannah, Georgia. Also included is a photograph and two letters to his sister, Lillian Anderson.

The collection consists of papers of the Stone family from 1880-1943. Papers include receipts of Mary Stone, promissory notes to William Stone, Georgia State College report cards, and business papers concerning Athens Chronicle and Athens Publishing Company. Volumes included are a cashbook of Athens Weekly Chronicle; cashbook of Hubert Banking Company; and a scrapbook created by Jennie Stone containing a newspaper story by Harry Stillwell Edwards.
