The collection consists of five typewritten documents pertaining to the Civil Air Patrol, dating September 1942. Four documents originated from the National Headquarters in Washington, D. C.: a letter regarding salutes; an addendum concerning the red sleeve braid; and a bulletin. One letter originated from the Group 421 Headquarters in Hapeville, Georgia, regarding a gala dance being held by the Atlanta Squadron.
