The collection consists of hundreds of color paintings and drawings by bird artist Richard A. Parks. Subjects covered include North American birds, Solomon Islands birds, Naval-related subjects, and flora and fauna. Also included are correspondence and papers regarding his work on bird illustration but also touching on his Navy career and other topics. Also included among the materials are his multiple bird designs for the Atlanta Audubon Society T-shirt.

The collection consists of materials relating to Dean Rusk, collected by Rusk's brother, Parks Rusk, from 1935 to 1985. Includes correspondence, speeches, programs and printed material, photographs, and newsclippings documenting his private and public careers. The correspondence includes letters written by Rusk to his family while attending Oxford University (1931-1934), while teaching at Mills College (1934-1940), and while in India and Europe during World War II. The letters reflect his personal activities, plans and feelings, his political views, and his impression of the areas which he visited and of the people with whom he came in contact.

This Georgia Redcoat Band collection consists of photographs, newspaper clippings, and correspondence. The photograph files, which comprise the majority of the collection, capture the history of the Redcoat/Dixie Band from as early as 1917 to the 2000s era. These files include major figures such as Roger and Phylis Dancz, Gary Teske, and Dwight Satterwhite. Additionally the collection contains newspaper clippings and correspondence that mirror major events seen throughout the photograph files. These materials offer insight concerning the happenings of the Redcoat/Dixie Band at the local, state, and national levels.

H. Randolph Holder family papers, 1933-2002

The collection consists of biographical information, correspondence, writings, photographs, printed material and scrapbooks. There is much correspondence between "Howie" Holder and his wife and family during World War II. One group of letters from Clementi to her husband while he was a POW were found in the prison camp 40 years after the war and returned to them. In 1995 Holder wrote a book about his POW experiences titled Escape to Russia.
