The collection consists of framed items which include the signatures of the University of Georgia men who attended the Second Reserve Officers Training Camp at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, during September and October 1917. In addition, and also framed, is the cover letter from Reverend Arthur Rowbotham of the National War Work Council of the Young Men's Christian Association concerning this gift.

The collection consists of correspondence of Loran Alonzo Dowling, a Marine during World War I, to his mother, Vannit Dowling. The letters were written from the Marine training camp at Paris Island (S.C.), then from France, Belgium, Luxemburg, and Germany during his military service. The letters mainly discuss family and friends in Georgia, but also contain information on Dowling's duties as a runner carrying messages between units, trench warfare, being gassed, the people's reactions to American soldiers, and the battle of Saint-Mihiel (France) in 1918.

The collection consists of the papers of Emily Woodward from 1916-1957. Includes correspondence, programs, invitations, speeches, radio scripts, newspaper clippings, and scrapbooks. The correspondence deals primarily with her involvement in the Georgia Press Association, Georgia Forestry Association, the Women's Committee of the National Democratic Party, and the Georgia State Public Forum. The collection includes letters from Ellis Arnall, Sandy Beaver, Martha Berry, Charles Crisp, Walter George, Corra Harris, Margaret Mitchell, George Foster Peabody, E.D. Rivers, Eleanor Roosevelt, Clifford Walker, and William A. White. The scrapbooks cover the years 1940-1950 and contain newspaper clippings, programs, notices, and magazine articles.

Topics include art, history, flower arrangement and holiday festivities. A few articles of correspondence, newspaper clippings, pictures, programs and printed material, mostly related to her work, are included in the collection. Some paintings are present including a self-portrait of the artist.

The collection consists of correspondence, writings, printed material, photographs, genealogy and financial papers. The correspondence consists mainly of letters between family members, and the personal and business correspondence of Byron Herbert Reece, some were written to him when he was a tuberculosis patient at Battey State Hospital in Rome, Georgia. After Reece's suicide in 1958, much of the correspondence of Eva Mae Reece pertains to memorials to her brother Byron Herbert Reece and copyright renewals of his works.
