This collection contains the business meeting minutes of the Screven County Dance Club of Screven County, Georgia including membership lists, cash received and paid, and meeting minutes from January 24, 1952 to January 24, 1975.

The collection consists of a ledger containing detailed records from the government corrals at Doctortown and Savannah, Georgia operated by the Federal Army of Occupation, Sub-District Altamaha. Chiefly in the handwriting of Lieutenant A.B. Godwin, the ledger lists names of drivers, teamsters, and wagon masters; amounts of grain issued and received; blacksmithing; miscellaneous supplies; and the condition of horses and mules with notes on purchases.

The collection consists of a ledger book of Lloyd Leroy Smith from 1949, 1953-1954, and 1957. Entries list the date, item purchased or bill paid, amount paid, and amount received.

There are several loose papers that include a record of goods sold to freedman Boney Brown as well as Rice's 1863 quarterly taxes paid on 335 gallons of brandy.

Included are rules of order, constitution, names of members and their occupations, and accounts of members, from 1852-1855. The second section contains four pages of minutes of the Stephenson Gold Mining Company, Dahlonega, Georgia, from 1861. The third section contains the constitution, by-laws, list of members, and minutes of the Dahlonega Debating Society, Dahlonega, Georgia, from 1871.

The collection includes the original ledger belonging to Nathan Thomas Elder and a copy of the ledger transcribed by the Reverend John Andrew Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. It contains lists of supplies purchased for Elder's farm, along with their prices, from 1866 to 1873. County records from this period are also included in the ledger, resulting from Elder's work as Justice of the Peace. The transcription of the ledger provides an introduction giving general information about the ledger and its contents, photocopies of original pages, a glossary of farm implements, and an index of names.

The collection consists of the ledger of T. H. Dearing from 1886-1889. Entries include the date, customer's name, items purchased, and amount charged. Items purchased include food, tobacco, clothing, and household goods. Names of Athenians listed in the ledger include Brumby, Dearing, Nicholson, Carlton, Lyndon and Holman.

This collection contains one ledger book from the First National Bank of Chattanooga, TN for the Times Printing Company during the years 1896-1900. The Times Printing Company produced the Chattanooga Times newspaper.

This collection consists of five ledgers. The ledgers included the arrival and departure of the women who lived in Soule Hall in the 1920s.
